Aloneness

"Aloneness and silence are two aspects of one experience, two sides of the same coin. If one wants to experience silence one has to go into one’s total aloneness.
We are born alone, we die alone. Between these two realities we create a thousand and one illusions of being together- all kinds of relationships, friends and enemies, loves and hates, nations, races, religions. We create all kinds of hallucinations just to avoid one fact: that we are alone. But whatsoever we do, the truth cannot be changed. It is so, and rather than trying to escape from it, the best way is to rejoice in it.

Rejoicing in your own aloneness is what meditation is all about. The meditator is one who dives deep into one´s aloneness, knowing that we are born alone, we will be dying alone, and deep down we are living alone. So why not experience what this aloneness is? It is our very nature, our very being.

  1. We create all kinds of hallucinations because we forgot our true selves. We were born into bodies with mind that believed the existence of the outside world. The body and the world is not true for it is constantly changing. We are just One, not Alone. We are the observers of Change, constant and silent. We are single consciousness burning in different vessels that we call bodies.

    1. yes, it is true that we are a single consciousness, but the illusions and the ego in us creates the separation. And instead of shattering that illusion we constantly rely on all kinds of relationships to not feel alone. We have to search inside us and not outside in any kinds of relationships, our path within is ours alone to walk.

  8. Good thing is that you don't oblige to the "social filter" while you write your words. In turn your sentences come out pure like it was intended, just like the thoughts inside you. In a way you are doing much to make the ends meets between the thoughts( inside) and the system of words/communication( outside).

And if you have listened to Osho, he has clearly mentioned how flawed are the words that it cannot convey exactly what you actually thought. I wrote too long, :)

    1. yes, words do fall short to describe one's feelings. It is difficult but i try my best to bring them out, no matter how limited it is. I am just glad so far my writings are understood and liked. :D

  9. No body is happy being alone. And we don't born or die alone, there is a society with us while we born or die.
